To read a PDF File you will need to have Adobe's Acrobat Reader installed. Acrobat Reader comes in two forms: one as a stand-alone application; and, the other as plug-in to your browser. A common way to operate is to use the plug-in to surf PDF files and use the stand-alone version when looking at large files which have been downloaded onto your hard disk.
